    By Home Alliance | June 12, 2009

Home Improvement, BookcasePeople get impressed when they see a coterie of books in your drawing rooms. Of course you need versatile collection of books. But you also need elegant book carriers.

Wood cabinets with arched panels are a great way to store books. They do have glass panes to showcase the books. They may have separate columns for different styles of books. They may also have certain locked shelves to keep important documents.

They come readymade but if you are willing to spend, you may have them customized. Oak or cherry bookcases look elegant and brighten the atmosphere in the drawing room. When you keep your books in such cases, you also instill an element of reading will in kids: A very positive signature tune.

Wood cabinets may get stale at the bottom and so you should place them on rubber soles. This will save them from water touch. You may also varnish them to match the drawing room décor.
