Styling your verandahs
By Home Alliance | June 13, 2009
Verandah is an extension of a house. It should be livable. It allows one an excluded area to sit and muse. It should have good lighting to encourage reading for kids. You may also take certain steps to style your verandah.
Chrome grills may be placed on its railings to avoid fall. It also gives an option for clothesline. You may put one or two plant pots to keep the verandah green. An open swing that is placed laterally may operate doubly as a playing and sitting zone.
You may put a coffee table and surround it with a couple of wooden chairs. Then you can sip coffee and look at outer locales at leisure. You may place a table fan for air if the verandah opens to a swampy section. You may also put a small goldfish aquarium for added beauty. The verandah should be such that you can afford to have your afternoon tea with a couple of guests there.
