New bathroom furnishing culture
By Home Alliance | February 20, 2009
Bathroom is not a subsidiary unit. It is a place where we register few minutes of peace and compose ourselves for the coming hours. At night, nothing is quite like a perfect bath. Today, a new bathroom culture has sprung up forcing sellers to keep bringing up the “feel good factor” stuff for the bathrooms. Batch cubicles, shower panels, vitrified tiles; accent paint, diffused lighting and perfectly allotted furniture add a lot of grace to a bathroom.
Uncluttered spaces with small units add space and create a nice illusion of hugeness. Strategically placed mirrors play the same kind of trick on the eye.
Diffused lighting, as we have mentioned above, is an important parcel of a bathroom. You keep the illuminating objects behind the vases, tapestry or even cotton bowls. Accenting the walls in neutral colors and utilizing the effect of light on them is a great solution too.
