First of all, you must construct the appropriate house for your animal, i.e. a kennel for a dog, a cage for a bird, and so on. Next you must feed it the best food in order to keep it healthy, and for this you need to consult a vet.
A small period of freedom should be given to your pet every day. No matter whether it is a cat or a dog, you must let it roam about on the open streets for about half an hour daily. Try figuring out what your pet is fond of the most, and try giving them some of it regularly. For e.g., a parrot likes mimicking other’s voices, and so, if you have one, teach it new words every few days.
