Adding on-things to consider
By Home Alliance | January 20, 2010
The first thought that props up is how long you plan to stay on the property. You need to consider whether you will get the full benefit of the proposed extension or add-on. Will the value added to the property more than compensate for the cost involved, is the next question that is bound to pop up. Costing and budgeting is another Important factor as often people end up realizing that the total cost has escalated their estimation. Make sure you get all the necessary permission for the add-ons you are planning and do not face any legal issues in your local area if the add-ons you are planning needs outside-house construction.
It always helps to look into the near future to ensure you don’t face any problems with plumbing, electricity, or water in the near future. Add-ons necessarily do not mean rebuilding. Even a simple arch-way can make a great difference.
